Proof — real name Deshaun Holton was gunned down early Tuesday at a nightclub along Eight Mile in Detroit.
Proof was one of Eminem’s closest friends and was the best man at Eminem’s wedding in January.
In a spooky foreshadowing Eminem song “Like Toy Soldiers” shows Eminem pacing at a hostipal as doctors try to revive proof who has been shot in the streets.
Later Eminem is seen attending Proof’s funeral in the video lamenting the violence amoungst rappers.
Family members of Proof have been gathering in his neighbourhood after hearing the news of the shooting and his subsequent death.

Eminem has been releasing a lot of songs about his daughter Hailie and his relationship with Kim Mathers. And after his recent remarriage just 3 months ago he’s filed for divorce.
Kim Mather’s claims Marshall Mathers is back on sleeping pills after a recent bout of rehab. She also says that she hasn’t seen him for six weeks, had organised a councillor and didn’t really want to get divorced again.

According to Interscope, Dre has reportedly been entrenched in the studio with several collaborators to complete the Detox album. According to one source, the award-winning producer has submitted over 50 beats for the album and regularly tweaks his production.
“Dre has very high standards,” Mike Elizondo told Billboard. Bass-player Elizondo has worked on several projects with Dre, including Eminem, The Game and Xzibit albums, and is currently collaborating with Dre on Detox.
