Russell Simmons Brings Attention to World Aids Day

Russell Simmons has spoken out on world aids day as he visits Botswana and South Africa (seen inspecting a diamond in Botswana here).
Simmons and his delegation has discovered more and more Africans have been trained to sort, cut and polish diamonds, thereby taking part in a greater part of the diamond pipeline process. Simmons is there on a recon. mission for Simmons Jewelly Co.
While in South Africa he made a statement on World AIDS day.
The disease has made an impact in the hip-hop community with the deaths of West Coast rhymesayer Eazy E and X-Clan member Sugar Shaft.
