After Jay-Z’s recent Kingdom Come release Nas’s new album ‘Hip Hop is Dead’ is set to hit the stores. Although Jay-Z’s album started out with 600,000 sales in the first week it has been a failure critically.
Nas’s album is projected to start out at 300,000 units in the first week.

Terror Squad’s Don, Joey Crack Aka Fat Joe (Born Joeseph Cartegena) was shocked at the news of Jay-z signing Nas to DefJam.
“I used to look up to Nas a lot,” Fat Joe told MuchNews. “And I don’t even really respect what he did.
How do you become a friend to a person who disrespects your baby’s mother?
It’s too much ugliness. I almost died, as a hip hop fan, when I heard they were together.”
The well publicised feud between Nas and Jigga sparked an epic battle/dis of tracks such as Nas’s burna “Either” and Hova’s “Takeover”. Egos, Baby-mother’s and Career adgenda’s amongst other issues were responsible for the beef.
