Young Jeezy Not Fazed By Jay-Z’s Return
Jeezy is not concerned with Jay-Z’s return coz theres plenty to go around
Written on Saturday, December 2nd, 2006 by Hon Daddy Dad :: 0 comments to this post
Some Def Jam artists, from LL Cool J to Nore have been hollering about the Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, comeback Kingdom Come.
As LL Cool J Todd Smith said:
“How am I gonna re-sign with competition? I’m not an idiot,” LL Cool J told MTV. “I can’t depend on that man (Jay-Z) to promote my record while he’s somewhere writing rhymes.” (LL Cool J is teaming with 50 cent on his last Def Jam Album)
Young Jeezy isn’t fazed:
“Everybody got their lane. This industry is a highway and everybody got their lane and me and Jay ain’t in the same lane,” Young Jeezy told AllHipHop.com. “I don’t feel what he’s doing is interfering with what I’m doing. We do two different types of music for two different types of movements. Real n***as are glad he’s back.”

Three 6 Mafia is set to drop their new album in December 2006 with guest appearances from Lupe Fiasco, Paris Hilton, and Justin Timberlake through Hypnotize Minds/Sony.
Juicy J says:
“We’ve got some tracks. We’re still working on it. We’re just trying to make sure we get the right single and the right songs that people like and can dance to. It’s gonna be the same hustle. If it’s not broke we’re not trying to fix it. We just work and stick to our same roots, but I think our sound went mainstream as is. We’re the same old dudes, still doing the same thing and still grinding.”

Lil Wayne May Have To Give Up His Cash Money
Written on Sunday, April 9th, 2006 by Cinzano D :: 0 comments to this post
As the success of his new album, The Carter II escalates, Lil Wayne (AKA Dwayne Carter) looks like he’ll have to pay out his ex-manager around $1 million over the next 2 years.
Melissa Philipian of Miami’s White Tides Entertainment in Miami, Weezy’s ex-manager, has officially filed a lawsuit for failing to pay her back commissions totaling $500,000. In addition to that she claims her contract states that 15 percent of his next two years earnings is owed to White Tides Entertainment. Weezy signed the contract for her management in June 2005. He fired her in December last year after being unsatisfied with the standard of hotel room that she booked for the southern rap star when touring before Christmas ‘05.
Since signing with White Tides management, the company had arranged deals with advertisers for product placement, various appearances on other artists albums and had booked 21 concerts for the Ca$h Money Mogul. Miami Herald interviewed Philipian’s lawyer Richard Wolfe, who recently stated in the publication that, “We’re probably looking at damages in excess of $1 Million.” He then went on to comment that, “Sometimes artists make it big, and then forget about the people who helped them get there.”
Despite managerial beef Lil Wayne’s career has been blossoming with his Reebok deal and his latest Album, “The Carter II” which is doing well in the American Billboard Charts at the present moment.

Snowman Young Jeezy Feels the Heat in Miami Shooting Incident
Written on Tuesday, March 14th, 2006 by Cinzano D :: 0 comments to this post
Early Saturday morning Young Jeezy, born Jay Jenkins, was busted on weapons charges after a shootout on a busy South Beach strip involving some of his friends.
Miami Beach police arrested the Atlanta-based rapper and charged him with two counts of carrying a concealed firearm. No one was injured.
According to HipHopgame.com A fight broke out at about 5:30 a.m. Friday morning in the 1200 block of Washington Avenue when Tramiel De Juan Golden — a producer — was caught fighting on tape with several men, who were not identified. Young Jeezy was with the group.
A passerby, Marco Raez, turned on his video camera, and started filming. Golden demanded: ”Give me the camera.” The feud escalated. When Raez refused, another man Raheem Karriem, who was also with Golden, lifted his shirt to reveal a gun tucked into his waistband.
Karriem began shooting. Raez surrendered the camera Miami Beach Police spokesman Robert Hernandez said about nine men, including Young Jeezy, got into two separate SUVs and fled the scene.
Karriem got into a black Landrover while Jeezy jumped into a Lincoln Navigator, police said. Before he was stopped by police, Karriem smashed into three parked cars, causing thousands of dollars in damages.
Police caught up to the Navigator moments after the incident occured. Jeezy, who was sitting in the back seat of the car, pointed his fingers at officers, making believe it was a gun.
Officers found a semi-automatic firearm under his seat and another similar firearm, near the armrest. Jeezy was arrested and charged with two counts of carrying a concealed firearm without a permit, while Golden was charged with strong armed robbery. Another man, Steven Lesly Savain, of West Kendall — who was also with the group — was taken into custody. Read more about… Young Jeezy Snowman
