Raekwon the Chef to Release Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II
Are You waiting for some fresh Raekwon?? Check out This Bangin Track “Da Destroyer”. Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II is comin in the new year. It will be the 4th studio album from the Chef. Following his classic ‘95 release Only built for Cuban Links, Part II is said to feature fellow Wu-Tang Clan members GZA and Inspectah Deck as well as some Aftermath artists (perhaps Busta?).
Word is Dr.Dre and RZA will produce this new joints now that Rae is signed to Aftermath. Could we see Rae on Detox as well? (Dre’s said that its officially due in Sept 2007.)
Raekwon apoke of the upcomin release, “I just felt it was going to be something to excite the fans in hip-hop,” Rae said. “Let them know I’m dealing with a whole list of thorough superproducers that’s making sure this legacy of Cuban Linx carries on. We thought it was a brilliant idea to have RZA and Dr. collaborate, us being big Dre fans. His classics sheet is way long. As well as RZA’s.”
