Daddy Yankee pimped in fake show ticket scam
Reggaeton superstar Daddy Yankee and a number of his fans have been the unwitting victims of a fake concert ticket scam.
A woman has been selling tickets for $100 and using a Limousine as a prop (which she claims to be Daddy Yankee’s with him waiting inside the limo). After selling a stack of tickets she jumped into the limo and screeched off with all the jilted fans dough.
When hundreds of fans finally caught on to the scam, “They were about to burn the club down. They started throwing bricks, glass, everything at the club,” said witness Martinez.

The scammer also has reportably recieved a wire transfer of $100,000 for a non-event Daddy Yankee concert in New Jersey. Bergen County, N.J.-based prosecutor John Molinelli has issued an arrest warrant for the suspect who is now believed to be in the Dominican Republic.
