Who Is One Of The Busiest Men In Hip-Hop Right Now? None Other Than Cee-Lo Green……
Forget 50 Cent, Dr Dre, Jay-Z or even Young Jeezy. Thomas DeCarlo Callaway or Cee-Lo Green as he has known is hustling harder than almost anybody else in the hip-hop game at the moment.
He has recently joined forces with DJ Danger Mouse, the creator of the highly controversial “Grey Album”, member of the Gorillaz and of Dangerdoom on a new project entitled “Gnarls Barkley”.
Expect a weird, funky psychedelic hip-hop affair.
He is also prepping the release of a collaborative album with singer/producer Jazze Pha who has fashioned hits for Field Mob “Sick Of Being Lonely”, Ciara “1,2 Step”, Ludacris, Lil’ Wayne and many more.
The album was formerly titled “Lavishly Co-Ordinated” but is now going under the title “The Happy Hour” which is the name of the sets lead single.
Not content with all this he is working with Jack Splash who is the frontman of Plantlife who are described as an “Electrotechnofunkrock group”, their respective talents are combining for “Lovestink”.
Also as a founding member of dirty south pioneers Goodie Mob he is on duty for their reunion album due sometime this year.
The “Happy Hour”, “Gnarls Barkley”, & “Lovestink” projects are all expected this year.
