Cee-Lo & Dangermouse Bringing Gnarls Barkley Project In May
The highly anticipated collaboration between two of hip-hop’s most creative players is finally coming out.
Due for release in May “St Elsewhere” finds former Goodie Mob principal Cee-Lo Green and “Grey Album” mastermind and Gorillaz member Danger Mouse combining their respective talents into a new and funky brew.
The lead single “Crazy” has been getting plenty of love in the blogosphere for a minute and has also been played on tastemaker stations in the U.S.A and the U.K.
The Gnarls Barkley are scheduled to make their live debut at at the Coachella Valley Music Festival alongside musical luminaries Franz Ferdinand, My Morning Jacket, Go! Team, TV On The Radio, Damian ‘Jr Gong’ Marley, Sigur Ros, Common, Devandra Banhart and more.
The album is due in stores May 2 in North America.
