Snoop and his Crews Not So Fly : Arrested at Heathrow Airport

An altercation arose two days ago when British Airways denied Snoop and his crew entry to their 1st Class Airport Lounge in Terminal 1. After being told that they wouldn’t be allowed in they were then bar from their flight. The Doggfather and his 30 strong crew protested, leading to a scuffle with Police/security with seven police officers injured and an arrests for him and his entourage.

The ruckus escalted when the crew started to drop some whiskey bottles at a near by duty free store when arguing with staff. Scotland Yard reports that the group was then ushered away when a fight broke out between the crew and police. Witnesses told London’s Daily Mirror Newspaper ” It was absolute chaos…It looked like it was on the brink of turning really nasty”.

Prince and Cam collide in a new mixtape currently hittin the streets titled, “A Prince in Harlem” . The Tapemasters are responsible for the ill collabo which features guest appearances from DipSet’s Juelz Santana & Jim Jones, Big Pun, N.O.R.E., Jadakiss & Styles P. John Shotti from the Tapemasters is responsible for the production of the mix which prepares the streets for the up-town legend’s up-coming Album, Killa Season, which drops May 16 accompanied by a film of the same title.
The Disc is diverse in content, Princes’ classics melt into Cam’s witty wordplay and paints an eclectic portrait of his Harlem Chronicles. Princes’ ” Kiss”, “When Doves Cry” and “Pussy Control” (a version which is chopped and screwed) all stand out as heavy rotation material. This effort is similar to the DangerMouse/Jay-Z “Grey Album” which recieved widespread appraisal and established DM’s Career. Could This Joint stir the hype for the style kings, Killa and Prince?

Proof - D12 Rapper and Close Friend Of Eminem Shot and Killed at Detroit Nightclub

Proof — real name Deshaun Holton was gunned down early Tuesday at a nightclub along Eight Mile in Detroit.

Proof was one of Eminem’s closest friends and was the best man at Eminem’s wedding in January.

In a spooky foreshadowing Eminem song “Like Toy Soldiers” shows Eminem pacing at a hostipal as doctors try to revive proof who has been shot in the streets.

Later Eminem is seen attending Proof’s funeral in the video lamenting the violence amoungst rappers.
Family members of Proof have been gathering in his neighbourhood after hearing the news of the shooting and his subsequent death.

DJ Clue has the Power. The 105 Power to be exact. The Platinum selling Roc-a-fella signed Clue, responsible for “The Professional” Mixtape Series will be hosting the 6-10pm weeknight slot in direct competition with Hot 97’s Funk Master Flex. Clue began at Hot97 in the early 90’s establishing his career with the Roc/Def Jam.
That should keep the airwaves flowin. Clue bring the Mixtape DJ credibility from the streets as well as many well established links to well known HipHop Artists such as Fabolous, Mariah Carey, Jadakiss, Snoop Dogg, Jay-z, MOP and Mobb Deep just to name a few. Dj Clue is also the CEO of Desert Storm Records which is home to F-A-B-O as well as Joe Budden.

Many believe that this move could elevate the DJ’s Career further by heating up the airwave competition. His new “Professional” Album is due in June and has been long awaited. The New Yorker has recieved much fame from his hosting duties on MTV’s Direct Effect. Clue was impressed with Nate Bell of Power 105 stating “[Nate] knows that I try to be the voice of the streets” Word is that Bell is extatic that Clue’s joinin’ his team, and feels that it will definately take the station to an higher standard.

As the success of his new album, The Carter II escalates, Lil Wayne (AKA Dwayne Carter) looks like he’ll have to pay out his ex-manager around $1 million over the next 2 years.

Melissa Philipian of Miami’s White Tides Entertainment in Miami, Weezy’s ex-manager, has officially filed a lawsuit for failing to pay her back commissions totaling $500,000. In addition to that she claims her contract states that 15 percent of his next two years earnings is owed to White Tides Entertainment. Weezy signed the contract for her management in June 2005. He fired her in December last year after being unsatisfied with the standard of hotel room that she booked for the southern rap star when touring before Christmas ‘05.

Since signing with White Tides management, the company had arranged deals with advertisers for product placement, various appearances on other artists albums and had booked 21 concerts for the Ca$h Money Mogul. Miami Herald interviewed Philipian’s lawyer Richard Wolfe, who recently stated in the publication that, “We’re probably looking at damages in excess of $1 Million.” He then went on to comment that, “Sometimes artists make it big, and then forget about the people who helped them get there.”

Despite managerial beef Lil Wayne’s career has been blossoming with his Reebok deal and his latest Album, “The Carter II” which is doing well in the American Billboard Charts at the present moment.

Black Rob sentanced to 7 years prison

After being convicted for the crime of Grand Larceny Bad Boy Rapper Black Rob (aka Robert Ross) was sentanced to a 7 year bid after he was found in possession of stolen goods in November 2005.

Rob was found in New Jersey in February . The prosecutors want him to serve the full sentance after he became a fugetive and refused to turn himself in. Rob was seen on hotel survielance cameras in New York City, 2004, after stealing $6000 worth of Jewellery and roughly $300 in cash from a woman’s hotel suite. He was then charged with criminal possession of stolen property and burglary and was facing 2-6years jail time prior to running.

Last Year he released his sophomore album titled, The Black Report, following a long list of contract, release date and recording issues but has appeared on numerous Bad Boy Crew tracks and Sean John Fashion shoots throughout his career.

Russell Simmon’s and Kimora Lee Simmon’s have split after 7 years, and two daughters.  Russell Simmon’s worth an estimated $500 million says “Kimora and I will remain committed parents and caring friends with great love and admiration for each other… we will continue to work side by side on a daily basis as partners in all of our businesses,”

The statement from Russell Simmon’s agent says they have been living under the same roof - while seperated for some time.

Simmon’s business dealings include music, fashions, beverages, credit, and yoga.
